Providing Individual & Psychological Evaluations
Transitions of Augusta is a psychology practice serving people of all ages. Our goal is to provide complete and accurate evaluations. Psychological evaluations are available for children, adolescents, and adults. We work with a wide variety of issues which include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, trauma, anger management, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and behavioral problems. We also specialize in evaluations for pre-surgical clearance for bariatric surgery or pain management surgery such as neurostimulator placement. We conduct Fitness for Duty evaluations; however, insurance does not cover these. We do not complete evaluations for child custody cases or court-ordered evaluations.

We offer individual psychological therapy as well as testing for attention, memory, learning, behavioral, and mood problems. Our goal is to offer an inviting, friendly atmosphere along with strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA regulations and fair pricing for our clients. We strive to serve our clients as quickly and personally as possible. We want each person to be satisfied with our services upon every visit.
Insurances
Dr. Turner accepts most major insurances. Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Humana, UMR, Georgia Medicaid (Caresorce). However, we do not accept Cigna, Medical Mutual of Ohio, First Health, Ambetter, Amerigroup, Peachstate or any out of state Medicaid.
